Over the years, the S and A Engineering Services team has consisted of time-served engineers who have worked for well-established blower manufacturers including Peabody Holmes/Dresser Holmes, Tuthill and Ingersoll Rand and have worked with blowers nationwide, in Europe and various countries around the world.
About S and A Engineering Services
S and A Engineering Services Ltd specialise in the sales, maintenance and repair of Roots-type positive displacement air blowers. We have recently moved in to larger premises in Bolton, which is central within the UK with fast links to the motorway network.
All of our engineers have Passport to Safety cards and our Site Engineers carry CSCS Cards (Construction Site Operative).
We have passed several rigorous procedures to be accepted on the
supplier/contractor list of many major companies. We pride ourselves on
our flexibility and personal approach to our clients and our portfolio
includes many well-known brands along with smaller businesses.
We are also registered with UVDB Achilles, Safe contractor approved and ISO 9001:2015 registered. So you can rest assured that you are in safe hands with S and A Engineering.

History
S and A Engineering Services was founded in 1995 by our Managing Director Andrew Smith. Andrew started work as an apprentice at W.C. Holmes; later to become Peabody Holmes, one of the UK’s most prestigious blower manufacturers. Progressing on to Service Engineer and then in to Service Management, Andrew has excelled in this field for many years.
As more work and new customers requested the assistance of Andrew and S
and A Engineering over the next few years, it was decided that larger
premises were needed and more staff to help with the ever
increasing workload. S and A Engineering Services was established after
our Managing Director left Peabody Holmes and was later requested by a
customer to continue repairing their blowers; believing his expertise to
be unparalleled. We are proud to say that we still serve the same
customer to this day and have a good, long standing relationship with
them.
Blowers
We carry out in-house repairs and on site maintenance to most makes of air blowers. Brands include Adams Ricardo, Aerzen, Dresser Roots, Dresser Holmes, Hibon, Hick Hargreaves, Lutos, Peabody Holmes, Pedro Gil, Robuschi, Spomax, Tuthill, Wades Engineering, W.C. Holmes & many more.
Blower Repairs
At S and A Engineering Services, we refurbish major blower components as a less expensive alternative to replacement wherever possible. We can also supply blower spares, service blower exchange units, new blowers and ancillary items.

Maintenance
Our preventive blower maintenance will ensure that your blowers operate at optimum efficiency and reduce the possibility of failure and breakdown. Rotary Valve Repair
